Good ideas...But...I also like to use the "hot head" approch as a last straw....I tell them, "I have no problem buying a one way ticket to resolve this issue....Remember, I know where you live"...

I happen to know a 767 driver and he told me sometimes when a new guy is on the mike to talk to the passengers, they hand him a note that says, remember not to say [censored]. And sure enough, he does!

I take items back and refund before I get the part back.If I can use Paypal to do so I do. I have been taken a few times. I would rather keep customers happy than not trust them. If a buyer's attitude is suspect I will require a tracking number and pics before a send a refund. I have been screwed a few times but usually as a buyer. It seems many EBay sellers do not know how to pack or think as is includes items that are not as described. If a seller says a item has no cracks and it is cracked then the "as is" should be irrelivant since it is not as described.

Remember the scene in the movie Casino when Joe Pesci told the banker that he was going to put his head to sleep if he put his money to sleep and he didn't care about going to jail because that was his business and that is what he does??? I found the clip on you tube but didn't want to post it here because the "F" bomb is dropped quite a bit!!
Funny.....

Thanks all, for the advice and attitude refreshment.

Aside from changing my ways about giving a refund before I get a part back, probably the best one is to simply "not sweat the small stuff" at the moment.

Although it pisses me off that someone would be that way, $50 isn't going to keep my kids from eating. I get just irritated when I come across people that act like a jerk and don't do what most common folks would simply see as the right thing to do. I try to treat everyone the same way I expect to be treated.

Right now, the guy still has both the money and the part, and can't seem to make a decision on sending it back.
