If it end's up being the real McCoy that is great and I hope it is.
Also means someone finally got a smokin' deal without paying stupid money.

Good luck to whoever bought it.

Look closely at the picture of the firewall. Way down at the bottom left (as your looking at it) of the transmission tunnel opening is a small clip. Thats very likely the muncie transmission cable clip. Look at the speedometer cable hole in the right side of the transmission tunnel, its not round like someone would have drilled it, its more oblong, the way the factory did it.

You can't just slap an X44 (or X11) tag on a car and add a cowl hood an muncie transmission and make it a COPO. Theres more to it that that. Someone got a real good deal. I bet hes (shes) getting all kinds of calls and emails offering to double or triple what he paid for it sight unseen. If you had it, and beleived it was a COPO or more importantly other people beleived it was how much would you sell it for?

I don't think it had a Muncie because the clutch rod plate is still on the firewall.

So, what could happen if the seller were to decide not to sell? Banned from ebay? Potential lawsuit? How can you actually make someone sell you their car? And, If you do persue a lawsuit, don't you have to file in the county/state where the seller resides?
I'd guess that if the seller didn't have a clue when he listed it, he might by now

Being that I am not a big block guy (going to bring an LS1 down to Supercar Reunion someday and slap you all silly with it) , I would sell it faster than you could say "money in the bank". Hard to say what you could get for it based on the fact that everything noticed and said so far is speculation. If it is the real deal, it just goes to show that there are still cars to be found.
