Default Re: DANA "427" Camaro found...thanks to Jeff Chlupsa

Absolutely amazing. It's great to see one that was at least somewhat protected all these years. I remember driving by a 69 Pacecar for many years that sat uncovered here in NH and stopping from time to time to ask the old woman who lived there if she would sell it. The story was always the same that it belonged to her son who had moved to CA and he was coming back to get it one day. I watched it slowly decompose until it finally got so rotted it nearly broke in half. One day I heard that it was bought by a local Camaro used parts dealer and parted out because it was too far gone to save it.

For the unfortunate short time I had known him, all I could think about is how I miss Steve. What a great human being he was.

I thought that also but then when I saw it at Carlisle in person I changed my mind. It was time.
