No, its true, I bought an old 67 L-88 vette with 20 miles for 500 bucks off her years ago. It was her sons who ordered it just before he went to Nam. Im sure you heard this story before

I just want to see the pics, who cares what you paid. A '64 442 rag is a cool car.

The whole concept of 4-4-2 was pretty neat...kind of like the J 2 tripowers of Olds

She started talking to me about it, but i was just to stunned! I couldn't hardly hear her anymore. She asked if i wanted some cookies and milk, and i said sure. She left and i started pouring over the car. What a car! I could not find a stitch of rust anywhere. and ....get this.....she said " Dear, would 500 hundred dollars be to terribly expensive for you?" She said that she knew it was old and hoped that it wasn't asking to much. !

I wonder if he writes for Harlequinn Books

What exactly did you pour over the car? The milk...or the milk and the cookies?

Seriously...if you have some pictures of the car...send them to me and I'll post them for you.
