Can you still run an old style CD box like a Delta Mark or a Jacobs/Motion with your setup?

Should be able to run Capacitive Discharge although there is a CD specific coil that Mallory made, but am not sure why that would be necessary. I plan on using a Mallory CD setup on my Chevelle for the MCACN show. So, I'll let you know how it goes.
Edit: I believe I have original instructions for wiring a Mallory CD set up. I'll take a look.

Yes, you can run a CD Box with the Mallory 4 cam dual point. But ONLY With Suppression Type Ignition wires. Cannot Use Solid Core Wires.
Pertronix also offers an electronic conversion for the 4 Cam. It's the series/Phase II W/O Rev Limiter. If Sam can't find his instructions, I have a set I can text copies of. He's also correct on the CD Electronic Ign Coil. They are used for the Amp variations plus to sustain the excessive volts well above 40,000. My droid pics are too large to post. I also can't resize them.

I got a set of Rev-Pol instructions and date sheets from Sam last week. I am now awaiting a test of the ignition and coil to see how everything fairs. If by chance the coil is weak, I'd be interested in learning more about the CD and will also wait to hear how Sam makes out. For now, I am searching for a set of solid core wires to use with the RP kit.
Interesting stuff here so please feel free to add on. If you want to email pics to me, I can resize them and post them here. oldgasoline101 at gmail is the address to send pics. G.

Here you go. Note that instructions shown are for the Mallory Super CD for both points and IR setups in the distributor. Also, the coil shown (model 28880) is a dedicated coil for the CD ignition system. However take a look at the note regarding "High Performance Option" (half way down the page) it states that a Voltmaster II coil (model 28675) can be used.

Got some good news today as I get started with the 302 build for the Green Z. Trick Flow just told me today that they are finished testing the new Aluminum Head 186 Aluminum Head and should start shipping by end of October. These are still a 175 runner but with a completely new port design and flow very well up to 600" lift while keeping a stock appearance. Cut for 1.615 spring pockets they will allow me to add a healthy solid roller cam. I'll top the new heads with this classic Edelbrock TM1 Intake and will now have to find a a good carburetor for it. Looks like the plan is coming together now.

Assuming that this will be used on the street, I hope you have better luck with solid rollers than I did. I got tired of replacing lifters and distributor gears and took it out.
