LOL...Chuck they were offered to me long before you bought them and at the time I probably valued them at well under 100K for the pair and they did nothing for me. They still do nothing for me. I might pay 100K for the pair now but probably not. Maybe others get excited but collectors I talked to about them at the show didn't see any value. Great they were saved but also great I'm not the one that saved them.

Not exciting, but have historical significance. Glad to see prices coming down. Hopefully chasing off investors. Reggie Jacksons cars want for normal prices. His celebrity did not help sell them.

Well I certainly would rather have the firebirds and 40K cash in my pocket than the 275K hippie van [make that 302K with the fee].

I've restored several original 69 l89 Corvettes. What I found is that if the car heats up with the aluminum heads it loses close to 75 horsepower. When the car is just at perfect operating temperature you can get one or two good rips through the gears and then it feels like somebody took the two end carbs off
