			That's about the same--on mine, the center is primary and then the one closest to the firewall kicks in(about 1/2 throttle) and finally the front carb cuts loose(about 2/3 throttle).

			Rick</div></div> Rick -- I don't think that is the Ford hemi. The 429 "Shotgun" engine was the hemi -- Ford named it the "Shotgun" because they felt it could compete with the fabled Dodge/Plymouth 426 hemi (aka -- Elephant killer). Didn't work out for them because of the HUGH ports, there was terrible low/mid range torque fiqures ... had to spin ther hell out of it to high RPM to get any power. I should add the engine above looks like the 427 SOHC ... TAZ
