are there any documented/known factory black Boss 302 Mustangs from 1969-70? </div></div>

No but Ford did put out an APB looking for one through Kevin Marti last year. Kevin did contribute to an old ongoing thread where the special paint Boss cars are being discussed on the Boss forum. It has been determined that Scott's Cougar Elim is the only known and documented G code Black car to receive a Boss 302 motor.Scott may share some info from his discussion with Kevin recently.

This thing is a beast. Was there any black 67's? I was only in the 7th grade when I saw my first 67 442. It was dark blue and I think it had red fender liners IIRC.

The '67 W-30s would have had the Red inner fender wells. That was the first year they were used with only 504 total factory W-30s produced. No convertibles.

I have seen a Black with Red interior '67.

This is the only Black '69 4 speed with bullet proof &quot;Canadian&quot; docs I have ever seen. I'm certain that there may be more out there, but the ones I've seen in the past had no docs.

1970 W-31 production was only 1,352 of all body styles, no convertibles.

1969 W-30 production total was 1,389 with 121 convertibles.

These are rare cars, considering how many didn't survive and that the vast existing majority have no docs.

There was a burger restaurant in Atlanta called Zesto's across from where I lived as a kid that was run by a Greek family and there was always some year 442 sitting in the parking lot. I assume it was the owners son that had the 67 I saw. He was always cranking on it when he was in the area. Always seem to be a big fan of the 67's but never see any of them anywhere.

SportyWorty1 is correct on the Black Boss Eliminator, its the only recocnized Black Boss 302 anything FOMOCO made. We are going to be working with Ford once the restoration is complete to see if FOMOCO would like to use it in some advertising..............we will see. Will post some pictures soon : )OH and yes the 1970 Trans Am Javelin is 1-100 and fully documeted and amzing, i love that car!
