Very cool car indeed. Is that S/S class on the windshield? Also I noticed the Firestone tires on the Norwood car. Awesome pictures!

Yes, that is SS. I have seen numerous Norwood Z28s with the Firestone Sport Car 200s?

That is the correct tire for this Z28. Still has the original spare in the trunk.

The recent buyer has decided that this Z28 is just too nice and original to be used as he intended, so it's on it's way back to Nickey in order to find another new owner.

$75,000.00

It just goes to show how you do business and how far you will go to make customers happy. Not everybody is willing to take a car back these days. A car this nice will sell again in a heartbeat. I know if I did not have one car too many I would be asking more about it.

Thanks for the kind words Mark.

The buyer had an idea, that he would seek out the best restored Z28 that he could find and then make it a pro-touring car with mini tubs, big wheels and brakes. He said that he felt no remorse about doing that with this Z28 when he loaded it up and took it home.

However once he had it back at home he was not keen on being the one to cut up the car and/or mess with George's restoration.

So it's back up for sale @ $75,000.00

Man, why doesn't he just buy a dynacorn shell and build it from there to suit his own taste? I think you can get those already mini-tubbed and he wouldnt get any grief for it. Glad he reconsidered.

Because you will have more money in a dynacorn just trying to make stuff fit than they are worth. The low mile 6 cylinder car I had would have been a better candidate.

That would have been a shame, cut up a perfect restored car? why not find a rust bucket and wreck that? Glad its back forsale
