Apparently the funniest part of this photoshopping has been hidden.. Mark had to join the Village People's website to get the pictures...

Just went through all 20 pages and all I can say is...WOW!
Some freaking nice cars there...what a time capsule.
I was going to ask where all the Frost Green/Citrus Green cars were and then I saw the picture of Mike Steitz's '70SS350...sweet!

Great job as always Bruce making us all feel like we were right there with you all.

PS...That stripe-delete all Black LS-6 'vert does it for me...that car is stunning!

Just got back in town from SCR 9 last night after rejoining my family who were on vacation down near Charleston, SC during the SCR9 and Ernesto. Thankfully Ernesto didn't pack the punch people thought and it landed about two hours up the coast from where we were. I was able to breathe a nice sigh of relief when we found out the storm lost it's punch and was not coming near us. As of late Wednesday night/early Thursday morning I thought I was going to miss the show because I had to make sure my family was safe and sound. At this point, my car was already on the road and heading north with out me but I figured I could always catch a flight if and when it cleared which it did, so it all worked out at the end.

This was my first reunion and I HAD A BLAST!!!!! Everyone I met was extremley nice and super friendly. It's funny to see the faces of the people who frequent here and match them up with the preconceived images I had conjured up after reading these posts for the last 2 + years. It was just as I thought.....never seen a bunch of uglier looking mugs before in my entire life

I had a chance to meet some people like Andy M, Jesse, Steve, Mark , Rob, Tom, Darren ( who was parked in front of me Saturday-very nice car too ) and Dana as well. There were others I wanted to meet and talk to them about their car(s) but was unable to.

The racing on Friday was awesome to watch and next year I hope to be participating in that. The dinner Friday night was perfect and Joe Barr was in rare form during the auction. It's hard to believe that this was the first time you did something like this....I think there could be a cable access show in the future for you~

The show on Saturday was beyond my expectations and I was able to see a lot of cool rides. Some I had heard and read about before but never been able to see them in person. Others I had seen before but couldn't get up this close to view. Thanks go to Bruce for taking all those pictures so the folks back at home who could not make it could get an idea what is was like.

As I was telling Mark Hassett on Friday night, the thing the made the event so special for me was the out pouring of help that came out from this group when the axle broke. To be standing in the hall and watch the 68 L88 drive in, just hours after the mishap was an extremely nice sight to see. People who don't know car guys that well think all we do is drink beer, talk about fast cars and even faster women(OK we do....) but what they don't talk about is the way we all pitch in and do what we can when things like that happen. To me, that is WHAT is ALL about. People will always have faster cars( and even faster women for that matter too) but people don't always help others out when the help is needed. It was nice to see that.

This was a great show and one I hope to make a return visit next year and the years to come. Thanks to all the people who put in countless hours in gettng this show ready. The effort and hard work you put forth is very much appreciated.
All you folks rock Thanks for making it a nice weekend.

Tom

Do like the shirt that Nick M. was wearing while working on Mark's Motion Camaro.
