Gary, It looks like you've got a great father/son/brother/uncle(Bruce) deal going there, the Chevelle really doesn't look like it needs anything immediately, so happy motoring.

I agree. Pretty darn cool just as it sits! Neat color combo with the red guts too.

Now, about those plastic inner fenders. Any part numbers or markings on them? My originals had absolutely no markings of any kind on them, but the ones on Howard's Green car had all kinds, including "Made in Canada".

Flint car eh? Pretty safe bet you won't find a build sheet.

Wow! What a great car. Love the red interior. I'd leave it a regular Malibu. There's way too many SS and SS clones out there nowadays.

[/ QUOTE ]

My sentiments, too! As I was scanning the pictures I was thinking "wow how refreshing to see one NOT cloned into an SS"

I live 20 miles from Grand Blanc. How long ago did you buy it? where did you see it advertised? I hate it when I miss one so close to home. With the price of gas leave the 307 in it I have a 71 with a 307 and it gets great milage.

What a great, sharp survivor! Needs some Cragars or stock wheel covers and then leave it alone.

I have all 5 (if you include the spare) of the painted 14" steel wheels, and 3 of the 4 dog dish hubcaps the car came with. I think I am going to go with the "SS" style magnum (15") repro wheels, as they are my favorite Chevy wheel.ANYTHING though is better than those 1990's mags on that poor car!
