That car is cool already, but imagine if it was an L78 car

Guys, you would ruin Tom's orange 70 Nova if you put a big block in it. That car is very cool the way it is. I saw it in person out at National Nostalgic Nova in York, PA when Wayne Bushey owned it. Wayne told me when he took that car to the Nova Nats. more people were interested in looking and admiring it than they were some of the big block SS cars. This was because it is unique and something you don't see everyday. An old, original, six banger Nova!! How COOL is that??

You could order hugger orange in late 70. It was called a spring time offering along with citrus green, and sunflower yellow.
In 69 you had to special order the h/o on novas --. We have a 69-- h/o L78 nova in the shop now that belongs to a member here. It has a black vinyl top, but we believe that may have been dealer installed.
Sold new from Grossman.

I expect there were a few, but this is the only one I've ever personally seen. Grossman was in the Yenko dealer network. They knew performance cars, and how to order what you wanted. It doesn't surprise me that this car came from there.
There were 10 H/O Yenko deuces built in 70. Should be one in Pa. close to being finished with it's resto soon.
