Update to my old post.
Now, about 3 years after moving to and fixing up my new house I'm finally back to work on my 1972 Motion Camaro. I just moved it from my barn to my garage and my 2015 resolution is to get back to the restoration. I could use some help finding some parts though. The car is missing the engine so I'm looking for a good march 1972 or older 454 CE "counter exchange" block, heads and intake, although I haven't researched what intake was used by motion performance, I've seen edelbrock used on them. I will also need a good vintage Hurst "auto stick" shifter and a fly eye air filter. Thanks, Scott

The car is apart now so not much to look at. I'm working on the body now. Fortunately there's not much rust and just some dings and small dents so able to use all the original sheet metal. I will work on getting some pictures.

A couple interesting things. The traction bars on the car were blue before, like the cars original paint color, and the front spoiler was once painted white like the stripes. Wondering if that was done at Motion or later in the cars life. I need to get pictures of the car from back in the day.
