I was in the Chicago Gearheads for a while...and it's killing me because I don't remember this car. Most of the group were Chicago Police officers. I remember a guy named Ron but he had a 61 Biscayne I think...darl silver metallic...this is a neat car.

The guys name was Ron Silver I think Bob. I dont think he drove it that much I thought he had just found it sleeping in a garage for a long time. The car is much better in person!

-------This Chevelle is a time warp. Very nice. The paint job had to be well applied to have stayed this nice for this long. I figure you can run out of fuel in the tank and keep going for another 20/30 miles at least with all the fuel line on there. I have never been able to get a handle on Thrush side-pipes, but I guess its part of the car. Some nice chrome tips in front of the rear wheel would give the same feel. I still dig it though......Bill S

Ive taken the sidepipes off in favor of original looking pipes behind the rear tires. They were nos ones I bought a long time ago and thought they would look great but i never warmed up to them. I'll put them on ebay so someone else can use them.

Just found this old thread.
I like the car as it was back in the day, side pipes, black vinyl top, etc. Ryan ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
