Kloneco,
Al,--- not looking to beat this tire thing to death---your correct, in having a tight drivetrain and suspension will aid in avoiding breakage with a solid hook-up---I'm just looking thru the eyes of someone who sees a fella willing to share a Great Motion car by racing it, and I like you and everyone else don't want to see him have any unnecesary problems.----And in the end it's up to him---his car.-- No big deal : Wish I could be there to see him run

I also second budnate and Jeffs request

Sorry, never got into the chat/video thing. I'll have to ask my kids.

Keep in mind I'm missing the reunion, again, this year. Wife booked a family cruise 2 years ago that returns to port in Miami on Saturday the 30th.

I will have a laptop and fulltime LAN-Internet connection shipboard so might be able to work something out. Stay tuned.

Hey Mark...

I hadn't thought about it until a conversation with Mo yesterday, but are you gonna try and run drag radials on the back with bias plys on the front?!

I've never tried it, but have been told that radials on back with bias tires up front is a BAD combo.

should i hook up some traction bars to break the tie down straps in my trailer, i'm afraid it will hook up and go throught the front of the trailer. Rob, I just bought some BF Goodrich Comp T/A Drag Radials and yes I was going to leave the front tires alone. I was planning on racing like that. What will it hurt?? Mark

I'm not sure how the drag radials react, but I've always heard bias on front & radials on the rear was a bad idea. It may not be a problem, just thinking out loud...

Pete would know more than I, as he has ran the drag radials before.

You won't have any problem with the radials on the back and bias on the front..... especially with the front tires off the ground!!!!
