Marlin,
I just didnt have anything else important to do today....thought playing with you might be fun! Once a wise a$$, always a wise a$$! You were discussing all the choppin and cuttin going on to bring the beat up drag car back to life, thought maybe by the time I got done replacing all that metal people might think....well you get the idea. You went and got me on a roll, I have been answering this dang blasted phone all morning with "Comedy Central"! I am starting to feel like Paul T. senior from that wonderful new show, "American Chopper", I am about to slam the phone off the desk! Anyway, all in good fun Marlin, all in good fun. Lets see if we can get somebody else to come out and play....Belair?

Thanks, Matt & Marlin, things have been boring here lately!! Now that I have time to surf again, I appreciate a little controversy!! Still doesn't hold a candle to the old Charley vs.Ignitionman on the Camaro site!! Jim

Those guys on American Chopper build some awesome bikes. Watched it last night and saw the spiderman bike, way cool. Aren't choppers like that around 100k?

Tom,
I never, and I mean never admit defeat, but this guy is one tough nut to crack. It seems like he is so overwhelmed from the interest and offers that it has put him in a state of suspicious fear over the whole thing. I am working on a possible trade, I have a friend in his area that has been slowly gaining this gentlemans confidence in the fact that it really is the car we are interested in, and that the whole thing is not some kind of lost evidence in a forgotten murder. Obviously I have no way of knowing what he is thinking, he just has that deer in the headlights look whenever the car is mentioned. I really dont care at this point who gets the car as long as someone does, but the more people who approach him the worse it gets. As I said, I may have a possible trade working, if it dont break loose soon I may actually have to give up because I am NOT going to resort to strong arm tactics. Marlin said I have to behave, the last thing I want to do is pi$$ him off, I heard he has some big mean hairy guys who work for him picking on little guys who sell Nova's! Thanks,

Charley, Are you bored? Tell me about this Ignitionman guy or post a link where I can read this before my time stuff. I hear you are going to be at Berger this weekend? I think me and Bill O. are going to pop in, I might even be putting up Belky for the weekend, you want me to bring a date for Belair? Ignitionman has a vivid Imagination. He was finally Banned from the Camaros.net and Chevelles.net sites but I think spends his time on the second Gen Camaro site. He is a good source for HEI Ignition info though. He also sells Smallbody dists that he converys to HEI. DJD probably has a link to his Web site. My big Beef with him was his statement that there were no Factory built ZL1's and that they were all conversions done in Los Angeles. He also claimed to have a Couple but wouldn't divulge what #'s they were. And yes I will be at Berger in Grand Rapids with the Yellow ZL1's and the Mule.
