My buddy snapped some iPhone pics. I lightened them up a little to reveal more detail.

Two elbows in the air cleaner base, one to the valve cover and the other to the center hose from the back of the smog pump. Open element CA-smog air cleaner bases have two elbows as well:

I notice different pump mounting bracket, maybe different pump with only one hose connection on the back that goes to the air cleaner base, pass side AIR hose routes under pump and seems to connect to driver side AIR assembly.

It looks to have the correct RH valve cover.

Yes, it has that cradle bracket for the smog hose (that goes to the back of the carb) to rest on.

Another friend of mine shot this '67 RS/SS L35 at a show last summer. Looks like travlnz28's '67 setup. Maybe they are different between Camaros and Impalas?

This guy's setup is way out from the valve covers. Pass side hose seems to route to the bottom of the pump. Driver side hose routes to pump but I can't tell how it connects.

Thanks for the excellent pictures! Looks like it was from a South Gate car, and whomever stamped the vin wasn't concerned with going over the N on the suffix! I'll take a look through my library of pictures and see if between that and parts books we can figure out if the Camaros and Impalas shared any of the smog stuff.
