I'm thinking of cutting the truck in half so it's easier to get the dash apart for disassembly

Guys,
I wanted to use these wheels from the El Camino for my "day 2" chevelle post car. Problem is, they are 15 x 6 and I need something a little wider in back like a 15 x 8.
