Less than 1 week - Awsome! Had a great time last year, my dad let me race the Motion But, this year I couldn't talk him into racing the Nova or Chevelle.
Hey - we should run some tow vehicles!!! I'd love to shut down some of you diesel guys in the Silverado SS

Looking forward to a great weekend...

Bringing two cars and nothing to race, that sucks.

Tell him about the big Deuce shootout.

Don't mess with old farts - age and treachery will always overcome youth and skill! Bullshit and brilliance only come with age and experience.

I planned on nagging him for the entire 10 hour trip, but I told him I would drive the other truck so he could take the Nova I'll bring a helmet just in case, and be sure to check the glovebox for non-adjustable rev-limiters
The cars look nice sitting inside, but I told him - neither Don nor Joel never intended for them to have clean rear fenders...

Yup, and thats another thing... a whole year later and that never went away, LOL - gotta keep tradition this year. I could sneak and put the license plate on upside down
I still laugh, I think that was my fault... thank god it stayed on!

can I bring my 1969 Road Runner bracket car, it's just a 440 with big tires and 6-barrel induction. My RT is not going to be ready in time.

For those of you planning to race Friday @ SCR7, we'd appreciate it if you'd throw in a helmet. Also, pants and a shirt with sleeves...not long sleeves, short sleeves are fine, just sleeves of some kind (I got bounced for a sleeveless shirt at MMP!). A driveshaft loop and catch can (a hose from radiator to washer bottle is how most of us Pure Stock guys do it) would be gravy...

Oh, and keep the shiny side up!
