This is a great thread and spent hours looking through it. Here is a pic of my dads '64 GTO convertible. The pic was taken in 1978. The 2nd pic was my dads '57 Pontiac Chieftan. Though you can't see it in the pic... the car has a flame job.

Hopefully not too late for the holiday themed photos. Here's one from Christmas 1978 in the Great White North. That's my nephew, sister, and Mom in the foreground. My ride is out in the snowbank:

Thanks for the welcoming and the compliments. I wish my dad would've kept it. The car was sold right around the time the picture was taken. I believe he sold it for $1800 in 1978.... He only paid $750 for it in '76. I remember doing 110 with the top down.... Its stuff like that that got me hooked on cars.
