WOW, the floor pan looks clean enough to eat off of..
![]() That is a great pic of the oval tail pipes. I needed that as a reference for the Pypes set I have. There is no way I can ever get them to stop rattling on the body or spring. I'm gonna make a wooden buck and shape them in my press. I knew the last several inches of those pipes were pressed from the factory, but that is a perfect example. I would be welding the pin holes in the exhaust pipes, unless you have a set coming from Eric.. ![]()

I have had these Cragar's laying around I bought from a couple of forum members thinking this day may come. And yes, I know the front tires are waaay too large.
So..........TT's or Cragar's? ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Personally Tim, I think TT's are a better choice with that color of that killer Camaro. - Bill W

60k miles, original paint........killer underbody with it's window sticker. I bought that and a 76 Eldorado with 34k miles and a ton or original paint too. That's what I should have been working on today!

They are thin. You can see the right side needed some help when Paul had it. I fear if I lay a welder to it, I'll just blow through it. Paul and I both wanted to try to hang on to what's left of the original pipes. At some point they will require a proper burial.

Unanimous, the TT's look much better with the color.
You will blow thru on the pinhole. I start at least an 1/8th inch outside with reduced heat and quite a bit more wire speed. Short, tack welds until you find good enough metal to weld to. Once you have a solid perimeter, you weld to that and close up the hole. Careful grinding to flush and a spray of salt water on the bare metal will blend it some. If you have a Dent Fix Eliminator, with the medium wire wheel, will make a close replication of metal texture to hide the grinder marks. I always finish grind with 120 too.

----Bill,,,I'm a certified Seville slappy having owned 3 of them so far. If I had the garage space I'd be giving someone (Tim) with what appears to be a pristine yellow one a call! They are such a cool design and size. Very appropriate "go to dinner" with another couple car.....Bill S
