Thanks Randy. The car has changed a lot since you last saw it. Between Gene and I we spent about $10,000 making it better.

Randy, did you ever look for a build sheet on this car? I never did because I figured that someone like you would have, I know for sure that Gene did not.

Rick Nelson, is Flint a factory that build sheets were common?

I am surprised that someone has not bought this car yet. I guess the right guy has not seen it yet. I know for one thing after 10 years in the car business. There is an a$$ for every seat. I relisted it on e-bay just for the purpose of advertising. That is all e-bay seems to be good for these days when it comes to car sales.

Frank,
Sad to say, Flint is one plant that I never see build sheets from. Still a great car regardless and those wheels really set it off as well.

Beautiful piece, and a stand-up guy who has his head on straight.

Best Wishes my friend. If I had the cash I'd snap it up in a minute.

I talked to Gene a while back and he told me of the upgrades and that he sold it to you.
I never worried about a build sheet or docs when I bought it. It was such as nice car, it was a moot point.
Here's what I can tell you- everything is there to indicate true SS. As I remember, the engine, although not original, is date correct.

You should bring it to Mundelein tonight. With the good weather, there will be about 550- 600 cars. Look me up. I'm always in the sponsor's section on Park ST. I park right next to the alley by Abernathy's. I'll have a white '66 Lemans convertible.

Berwyn Bungalows? Frank has sent me some pix of their house and the work they've done. The 'kid' does pretty good work around the house too.

Congrats Frankie

45 and 176. Easy and close to you. It's one of the best and most peaceful cruises around. No parking hassles- they have club members, village employees, and police on hand all over the place. Food, fun, and a lot of nice cars. I have been a sponsor since the inception- it's my favorite cruise. Bring the Chevelle and stick a for sale sign in it.
