[ QUOTE ]
Why does Ebay let people commit fraud like that? But, then again, who but you guys would know? Oh well, at least the great car is going to a great person. I think ebay should take crap like that more seriously. [/ QUOTE ] Ebay can't police every ad, nor do they have the knowledge to. It's an electronic swap meet, nothing else. My local newspaper can't police "for sale" ads in regard to the authenticity of the item listed. A swap meet organizer can't monitor everything sold by every vendor. We all have to do our own homework and use resources like this board.

Kim, not to be too picky, but the first ZL1 was delivered on Dec. 31, 1968. New Years Eve.
![]() Very late on New Years Eve. ![]()

Don't mean to take sides here but don't we generally refer to "January cars" as being 'produced' in January. For a car to be delivered in December, it would most likely have to be 'produced' in December.
And if I recall correctly, there were two ZL-1s delivered before the end of the year, December 31st. Let's check the production dates on some of the other ZL-1s.
