How about posting the rear-end stamping.If you have the block and it's been decked,post the casting #,date and is it a 4 bolt main.

I'm a little bit worried about posting all the details. I've seen quite a bit of evidence of fraud on some of these sites. Can some of you guys give me some sort of assurance that what I post cannot be duplicated or somehow sold. This might sound paranoid but I've only just found out all numbers are matching.

I have all these details and I'll be willing to post if some of the members on here could address my concerns.

I look forward to your replies.

I recently seen one of these tags on a 68 convertible, Talked to Rich Fields about it and he said it was probably a South American export car...

I don't blame you about posting the #'s, being that the car is in Australia some dasterdly culperate would find that an easy target for a fraudulant copy.

Maybe because it is a export they leave off the trim tag that says it meets federal standards.

Thats what I was told, 3rd world dont care about emissions, they wouldnt care if there was glass in it, just as long as it could sleep 11
