70 Nova ss

Rick, I could be wrong but I think that car is now sitting in my garage...1970 Nova SS396 L78 M-21 3.55 posi Tuxedo black, deluxe exterior trim, SS wheels, bench seat, deluxe interior and factory block heater!! His name was Dave S. and I even have a photo of him and his dad at a Super Chevy show somewhere near Chicago. Oh yeah, 22,000 original miles and all the #'s match, POP, window sticker, etc. The car is awesome!!

TOM THAT'S IT!
I first Met Dave & his dad at Super Chevy Joliet 1998.The Very first show they had at the brand new Rt. 66 Dragway here.Back then you could park where ever you wanted.Very disorganized.I set up next to him,along with my other friends Fathom Blue L78 1970 Nova (he later sold that to Midwest Auto exchange in Alsip).I got bumped to the GOLD Class area with my 1970 L78 Chevelle & had to leave Dave & his Dad.
It was 100 degrees plus that weekend,& Dave & his dad were parched.We took a few pix,& spend time eating & drinking all weekend.What a Hoot!
I have that issue of SC with him & his dad in it.
Glad to hear it's been found.

Wow tom sounds like my neighbors car also, he is the orig owner of a 70 L78 black on black with black vinyl 4spd bench seat 18 k orig miles and some day 2 stuff...side pipes with cragers pretty cool....ill try to get a few pics.
