The South American Yenko is the closest guess.

I spotted this car a couple of weeks back while walking around Punta Arenas, the "Southernmost city in the world", in the Pantagonian part of Chile.

The fender emblem ID'ed it as an "Opala Del Lux".

I guessed Opel and you said "nope." "Opala" doesn't equal Opel in Spanish?

Looks like some type of foriegn version of a Nova!Looking at this angle and from the rear quarter panel it resembles a 66 Ford Falcon except for the front!
