Brings up a question if people on here are going to meet up somewhere and get introduced ?

I plan to be there at opening Sat morn, if there is a coffee clutch planned.

In the past several of the members have arranged a set time to "meet and greet" and also having name tags identifying sYc members.

I think this would be great, and while we don't have the staff to host this, I can certainly work with anyone willing to step up.

We can also set up a specific meeting spot as a "Home Base" for this. Maybe our revised Vintage Certification area which will be located in the newly redecorated and expanded Awards/Ballroom area?

The Vintage Certification area is now located in the Awards/Ballroom. We will have a banner promoting The Supercar Registry/SYC, and Name Tags to help identify our members will be on the table by the banner. Look forward to seeing old friends being introduced to new ones.

My son and my brother Dave and I will be in the bar at Gibson's Friday night after the welcome reception like we usually are. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

I’m not the biggest partier, admittedly. As much as I love the cars, I look so forward to meeting fellow sYc’ers. 2 years ago, I wore a white T shirt with my sYc name on the back shoulder. I thought others would recognize the name. Not one person stopped and said, Hi as a result. But somehow, later, that eve, got mixed up with Grady and Adam Byers and and a bunch of other sYc gang that were party extraordinaires! Ha! I have to laugh. What a great bunch of inebriated guys. Had a great time!!! Maybe Dru was there? Anyway, point is, I want to meet as many guys as I can, if they want to meet me? Let me know where the “action” is going to be?

I just got a call from my friend, Terry and he can't go. I have a King room booked for him and I see there is no availability for the group rate anymore.

Before I cancel, is there someone who would want to transfer this to their name and take the room ?

Wasn't going this year but the magazine today and all this talk changed my mind. Room (Hyatt) and flight booked. I'm guessing there is a "Class of '71" this year, 50 years.
