After I clean mine up, I find a guy selling seat belt webbing and the thread, his dad worked for Fisher Body, $10. Lol. Packard Prov grounds I find the best stuff.

If all that they need is a thorough cleaning (chrome and labels are in good shape) I run mine thru the dishwasher on high heat, with extra wash cycle. They really clean up nice and I don't have to put any effort in them.

Dishwashers are great for parts and rims, just use crud cutter. use the pot scrubber cycle. Just don’t let the Mrs see you do it. Lmfao

Back in the mid-80's when I was restoring my 70 Hemi Challenger, my wife came home from work to find the black wrinkle finish paint on the rocker covers curing on low heat in the kitchen oven. Didn't prove especially popular, but both the rocker covers and the oven were just fine in the end.

I got a roll of green, the guy had like 3 other colors, he had black, red, light blue and Camel. I should have bought some. But I’m trying to stop buying stuff that’s not for my car. Lol

I always put my belts on the upper rack to be safe. I use the fire department dish washer so I don't get into trouble with the Mrs......

Rick I did the same thing with my black belts and they cleaned up great. My chrome was decent on all mine.
