I just did a '69 Camaro from PA to Oregon. I had a hard time getting anyone coming to the PNW on any normal time schedule. I finally used "Transport Luxury Auto". They have their own trucks plus has a few independents they use. Picked my car up within 3 days and it was here 4 days later! Only one experience with them but they come to PNW often so that worked well.

Exactly, I truly thought it was the last trip for one guys trailer. The thing was ready to fall apart.

I can echo the problems from using a cheaper carrier. I had to hire some people to threaten his lively-hood, lawyers, etc. I got him bounced from advertising in Hemmings. It actually took 6 months to get my car, which is insane! When I got my car there was some paint damage. I found out others had problems with this person in the past. I will never go the cheap route again. I've used Peterson (I don't think doing it anymore) and Passport in the past. Like Indiana Jones, choose wisely...

I-10 to I-5 or vice versa. No major carrier runs direct unless they are taking a full load from pickup to drop off. Cars are damaged in between pick up & drop off where they are driven on and off the trailer and stored outside ( in most cases ) waiting to be put on another trailer. I just dropped off this 1959 Buick Invicta Convertible in Toledo, Ohio on Wednesday. Yesterday I picked up this two owner 1967 Camaro SS Convertible in Chicago. Jim

You pay for what you get, I used Reliable 3 times in the last 2 years, great communication and nice/clean rigs, plus once the car is loaded its next stop is the destination.

Agree on above. I'm especially big on people returning calls and messages. Common courtesy stuff.
