Does the bottom side of the lid have the silk screening?

Thanks everyone, very helpful. No one is hurting my feelings with candid commentary - I will be looking to sell this to recoup some $ from the car purchase so I’m trying to understand if it’s more sensible to sell it as-is or pay to have it restored.
Steve - yes, the underside of the lid does have the original silk screening. |

I had a snorkel replaced on a 350/auto ducted hood air cleaner. Very simple repair.
Don't sandblast the rust. Use a de-rusting solution. |

My take on the revised bottom of the air cleaner (raised ridge) was to elevate the air cleaner element off the bottom of the base to prevent any rainwater or snow from damaging the element. The Oldsmobile AOI air cleaner also has a ridge for that same reason.

Tony
Do you have a piece of tape sealing the two rubber ends together? Pic? |

Rick, sorry, there is no tape on the ends. I can get a picture if you’re still interested.
