NorCam, seems you and I see a lot of the little "zits" others don't, or don't choose to voice an opinion about. If the engine isn't original, hunt down a close "MO" and sell the "DZ" ,if in fact it is real. I'm not knocking or calling anyone up on the carpet here, but at least the correct year "wrong" engine is a LITTLE "less wrong". If that "DZ"" he has is wearing a VIN, he can possibly line his pockets some more. There are enough ORPHAN sites now that finding a/the "MO" for his car (if it really came with one) is possible, and finding the '69 Z/28 whose original engine is MIA, could also feasibly be possible.
That car does have a darn good look, but bring the ride height, address the tail lamps, and then try for the $54,000.
