Protected to -50. Big problem there in Gilbert?

Sorry to keep raggin on you Eddie, but that El Camino needs an LS swap with an electronic OD four speed.

The 4.3 is probably killing you, although the 305 from that vintage isn't much better at anything other than using gas. Still, most guys want a V8, even if it doesn't pull any better than your 4.3.

I did a SBC 350 V8 swap on one of those a few (OK, many) years ago. Super easy, re-using all the brackets, WP, fan and even the shroud... just took out some staples and uninstalled the extension.
