The Boss stripes were reflective too.

Got the Marti Report today and the car is optioned as one of one. No other 1970 Boss 302 like it. Mart Auto Works also had the ORIGINAL Ford Invoice. They provide amazing documentation!! Will post pics later.

This would be a great car for the MCACN Barn Find/Hidden Gems area, as it certainly was a Hidden Gem!

Sounds like just about any other Mustang out there.

Ha!

Marti will break down any car to 1 of 1. Some cars really can't be broken down as much - maybe there were 5 identically equipped for a promotion, for example - but it's merely a gee-whiz thing. If there's any value of a car being 1 of 1 per the Marti Report, it's by how quickly it gets to 1.

I am pretty confident I've seen cars that were that weren't 1 of 1. I'm sure out of the 197,xxx 1970 Mustangs there are examples of cars being the same color optioned the same. I think its more cool to be able to document a rare car with such detail than value added.

Trust me - when you see dealers on eBay bragging how their Ford is "1 of 1," Ford people just roll their eyes. There's plenty of folks making claims about their cars - even Camaro owners - but Ford can substantiate it. Doesn't mean it's not useless, unless you want to make a claim like only 1 Fairlane GT was built with the 427 in 1967 - that, to me, is a "true" 1 of 1.

Thank you; my favorite of the ones I've seen was "the only blue one with an engine block heater".
