Thanks. Have been dialing in some things, making sure most everything works as it should and will be painting the white bumble bee stripe back on.

With all due respect, I'd think about whether or not to add in the bumblebee stripe. It was not delivered to the original owner with such, and you may have to remove the pinstriping to fit it on the car....it would look great with the stripe, but the car has a nice understated vibe without it as well. Just my 2 cents....free advice and worth every penny...

I don't believe this Camaro was a stripe delete. Nothing is noted in any of the dealer paperwork. The Bummble Bee stripe and pin stripes together are correct.
There is a huge stack of original work orders and none show the stripe being deleted at the dealership. I do like the look, just prefer to have it look closer to stock. Stripe delete does sound cool for advertising purposes. |

Hey, opinions are like Hemorrhoids - sooner or later every a$$hol# gets one... I'm certainly not a 1st Gen Camaro expert so you're probably right....however, I do like the "all black" look of the car...and the stripe has been gone for a long time...but I'm sure it will look nice with it as well. Good luck with the sale!

Some it appears can document an original engine with paint on the pad and not knowing the exact casting date?

Here's how the pinstripe and bumblebee stripe worked together - on an original paint car for reference.
Personally, I think the bumblebee stripe was carefully removed on the black 67. If it was deleted by the factory, I think the factory would have carried the pinstripe right through to the front of the fender rather than leaving it short. Either way, its a killer looking car Stefano. I'd leave it as is. ![]() |

Beautiful car stefano. My car is about 600 units after yours, with very similar stampings and casting dates. Good luck with the sale.
P.s. I would put the bumblebee stripe back on!(just me) Buddy

Randy the second owner of the car saw it on eBay and called us to chat about the car. He hadn't seen it in almost 20 years.
