While in the Gold Class @ Super Chevy Rt. 66 here in 1998,the judge gigged me 1 pt. for a lose lug nut.
The other 4 were tight,but he could hand turn this one lug nut. I laughed & thanked him for letting me know and asked if he ever worked the pits @ the Indy 500. ...and the old NCOA judging sheets.There's some strange deductions on those too. |

1 point deduct for plier jaw marks on window fuzzy fastener. |

One point deducted on my 67 Z for the T3 headlights "T" top bar not being exactly parallel with the ground.

Despite Charley's 70 Z leaving the factory like this, I can almost guarantee all of the following get deductions:
Poor paint coverage on the tail panel (my 69 was the same way). Crappy nose fit. Trunk weatherstip glue all over. Trim screw installed 2/3 of the way in. And a few more.
