Me likey. Had one myself when I was in law school in New Orleans - coupe with warmed over L72, 4.11's, 4 sp, factory sidepipes, knockoffs, Maroon with black guts. It was my daily driver and not terribly practical. Sold it to buy a Suburban, a Mercedes, and had enough left over to put a downpayment on a 45' Hatteras...

Very nice Ed!

All she needs is a good set of blackwalls... Have you thought about showing her?

Dan:

I love redline tires on blue Chevrolets! When we built the motor last year, we balanced and blueprinted it. I used one of the reproduction L72 cams from here on the site and bumped the compression to 11.7:1 with a set of .030 over Ross racing pistons on Eagle forged rods. I threw the 7115 crank in a box and put an Eagle forged crank in the engine. It runs like it should on 110 Octane Sunoco. Anyway, the stock 7.75x15 goldlines were no match for it (M21 with 3.70 gears) so, It gave me an excuse to put on F70x15 Redlines. The next step is to add an old set of American five spokes.

I'm the second owner of the Corvette. The first owner is still alive in Ohio. The Corvette wears it's original paint, glass and most of the interior.

Oh yeah, and I've never shown it ... I just run around these little backroads in my town.

Thanks everybody Ed
