----The 144 car has quite a history. I'm not sure which year it was but Jack Douglas told me when I was working for him that he had the use of 144 for about a month one summer. Jacks father was an upper echelon GM vice president prior to moving to Chicago and opening Jack Douglas Chevrolet. Jacks father died relatively young and Jack became the youngest Chevrolet dealer owner in the country. Eventually Jack lost that distinction when Billy Jacobs took over Bill Jacobs Chevrolet in Joliet Illinois. Dick Fortier owns 144 now and it still looks good minus the 144 numbers and I believe with different exhaust. The Halibrand's were changed out many years ago for Dayton wire wheels which suit the car perfectly. To my knowledge 144 was never in any type of sanctioned event!.....Bill S

----Not sure on this one but the beauty on the fender may have been Betty Skelton, a well known female racer back in the day. She was quite a looker and had a wonderful automotive history!.....Bill S

This is the Motorama car.
You can tell because the side trim is above the lettering with the fin flipped down. It goes the other way on the production cars. K
