Now that you mention it, I believe it was the offset. I've since taken them off, and replaced them with an original set of rallys with redlines so that I can drive the car without issues. I should measure the backspace, and put them back on to note the clearance at the back for future reference. Good point. Thanks

Totally stoked to have just found another set of mint original Mickey Thompson Indy SS H50/15 tires today. Now I have to arrange picking them up in NE Iowa as seller will hold for me but won't ship. These will go onto my TT wheels for the 68 and I have some Firestone pie crust skinnies for the front.

Finally picked up my NOS Mickey Thompsons from North Dakota this week. These are H50/15's and they still have the nubs on them. Now question is, anyone ever stick a set of these under a 70 Nova. I know they're wide but mounted on 8.5" wheels I'm wondering how far outside the lip they'd be with 4.25 BS? If they stick out too far I'll save them for my kids 70 Camaro we have planned.
