I have only recently been following this story and this guy. I don't do FB. Just follow whats been posted here.

This Patrick guy has quite a few youtube vids of cars he has found. The Z-16 Chevelle is something. wow.

Curious to know how much he wants for this Rallye green Nova SS?

Just as was with the Black w/gold stripe LS6 from Pennsylvania, both this and the Z16 were known by a few quite some time ago before Patrick did the story. I have photos of the car I received from a good friend almost 2 years ago and I talked to the owner of the Z16 almost a year ago. He did the stories on them but he did not actually find them. Still very cool stories to release to the public.

Did he delete the FB thread? I click on the first link and it comes up empty for me.
He might have buyers remorse now that he knows he has a really cool RG L78 Nova sold out of Yenko, and not one that was destined to be "converted".

So after reading through this, but I'm not on Facebook to see that, this is my take:

This 1969 SS Nova 396 is just that, a 19699 SS NOVA. Now some may argue that it`s a "conversion car", well then it would be an SS396 or have the 396 as it would be 427 AFTER the conversion. I could see between this been SOLD at YENKO and be slated for conversion to add MAYBE 15%, but nothing more then that. SORRY to the owner or anyone else, but it is what it is. And the fact that's it's an auto even further pushes away the claim of YSC.

A YENKO YSC Nova/Chevelle/Camaro HAS the L72 427's in 1969. That is what made them YSC's.

I have did the Yenko stripe kit thing to my 1969 Nova SS396 L-34. It was sold NEW at Chatham Motor ltd. I "believe" the original owner wanted a 427, so maybe I should say he wanted a "CONROY CHEETAH" and market it as such????? It has been a street racer for many many years.

I did happen to meet Kevin Hand and his '69 YSC Nova RG car just after I put the stripes on my car. I seen his car in a magazine and never knew of Yenko Nova's till then. I wasn't looking to make a clone or anything, just I THOUGHT the sides of the Nova's need a way to break them up as there pretty Plain-Jane, and the Yenko Stripe do.

He is just trying to hype this car up as much as he can before cashing in for a profit. He’s done the same with the other cars he’s found. I’m sure it’ll make it into hot rod magazine as an “unconverted” car.

Marlin, I'd delete that image and repost with a clear watermark on the face of that document...
