They will never rust because in MY opinion they have been "flame sprayed" with ALUMINUM giving them that whitish/silverish color.......The aeresol cast blast paint cosmetically covers the new "skin" and makes them appear more natural...............

[/ QUOTE ] That's correct - they're plasma-sprayed with about .005" of aluminum as a moisture barrier. ![]()

Chuck,
I'm guessing I can find a place in Phoenix to have them "flame sprayed". Anyone done this in AZ? Any idea of the cost? thanks, Dave

So far I am unsuccessful in finding anyone to "Flame Spray" my exhaust manifolds here in the Phoenix area. Has anyone in the local area used this process?
