There are still 9 days left in the auction and its at 55k already Im sure it wont be a give away by the time it ends.
I just heard a couple more big dollar cars sold and are heading over seas, it will probably happen to this car too if it checks out. With 9 Days left there is plently of time to do some research to get the real scoop.

I would have thought the car would have a 010 block instead of a 618 block.

The 10D 69 Z with a V1007DZ in the garage is a 386...
010 from my experience as well... Isn't 06A too late for JL8?

Isn't 06A too late for JL8? [/ QUOTE ] According to Jerry MacNeish's book the JL8 brakes were offered from March 1969 until July 21 1969.

Mark:
According to Alan Colvin's Chevrolet By The Numbers (which I have found is extremely reliable) the 386 Block was cast from August 68 until January 69; the 618 Block was cast from January 69 until April 69; and the 010 began production in late April or early May. The casting date of E 14 9 on this gentleman's 618 Block is a little suspect. The only thing that I can imagine is that it is actually a D 14 9 Block or it was somehow the very last one cast. Ed

Trim tag doesn't look like mine, several things do not appear to be correct for the car!
