Are you sure they made a 3 hole 069 in april 67? I think it would be one or the other. I just posted a 4/20/67 dual plenum. I don't think they would have made a 3 hole at the same time since they use the same part number.

The intake I posted from Ebay is not mine. I just thought it may help L.Z. I don't know the intake or the seller.

According to Colvin, the 3 hole was used until June 23, 1967. Although the one o Ebay does look to have an unaltered plenum. Who knows?

Here is a current eBay listing where you can easily see how the 3-holer was turned into a 2-holer...

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayIS...em=110291119984

Alan Colvin's publication Chevy By The Numbers 1965-1969 states..."The 3-hole design was used from August 1965 to June 23, 1967, when the 2-hole plenum was instituted for the 1968 model year."

Mine is a 6-21-67 cast part and to the best of my eyesite I cannot see any machining that has been done to the intake in that area as all the casting marks and machining marks are still visible. It appears to me to have been cast as a 2-holer.

No biggie to me one way or the other, just passing that along.

I believe that the 3 hole was what was deliverd on the cars and that the 2 hole was sold over the counter as a replacement.I have a few of both.I will check the dates for you.

No, the 2 hole was definitely used on 68 cars.
