I have to agree with you too Jude. I lost the value of a couple of nice cars during the past few months and I just don't trust the markets much anymore. I'm not going to pull anything out, but I am also not putting anymore in! I'd rather buy a fairly priced car or two I think what Sam is referring to is that prices of SOME cars did get a little out of hand over the past decade. I was unpacking some of my old files the other night and came across some old car files. I paid $27,500 for this car in 1999 and I'm guessing it would be worth about a $100K right now. I'm sorry, but that is just crazy! Yet, we've all become so accustomed to prices rising that we've come to accept it. I don't think prices will go back to 1999 levels, but I'd bet we will continue to see some more softening as things get tougher economically.
