Hi I did speak with the police today. They said the trail has gone cold. So they are all done unless they hear something.

I would check the videos mecum has for all of saturday and look for maybe 3 people around you. odds are you were cased. then when they went to steal the rig, one probably stayed behind on a cell phone watching you. think real hard about who was around you all day, nobody takes a slow rig out without knowing what you are doing. try to get one ID that way.
if it were me thinking like a theif, i would have put the whole rig in a vacant building as close as posible in an industrial park (available for rent, and we all know nobody is renting in these bad times) near by, and then later come back and get the cars on sunday with a different trailer. the trailer is probably sitting nearby still in an empty building a mile or 2 away. you should check to see if your toll tag tripped on the truck, if it went out of town.

Tony, sorry to hear about the loss.

I haven't posted here for a while, but am still checking every glimmer for a [now deceased] buddy's Motion Corvettes.

I hope you have much faster results.

I will never stop looking, I know that...

Sorry too for your loss Tony..
Great advice from black69 above!!!

I too was thinking about Larry's cars just last night...specfically his Lola 5000/CanAm car as I was cruising the lost/found section of a racing site..

Would it be possible or wrong to have a section or one specific thread here listing stolen cars etc...one place we can easily find the Vins and pertinent information quickly if we spot something?.
If we do come upon something we wonder about, it'd be nice to quickly check instead of asking in the forum and risk tipping off the crooks who may be watching too?.
