Plot thickens. Tom - what "COPO paperwork" are you referring to? Is this a memo from GM or something between i.e. Yenko and GM? I asked Bob S. how he found out about the COPO process and he being in proximity to Yenko kind of picked it up on the grapevine and asked his regional sales mangager about it who then looked into it which eventually resulted in Ewing dealership's ability to utilize the COPO process for 427s in other than full size Chevys.

This would be the memos (from Chevrolet) to dealers & the parts list for #9562...it only references 13637 models.

Ok Tom - thanks for the info. I will dig a little deeper with Bob. Mr. Ewing is still around too and the two of them talk. I'll see what I can dig up. I know how time can play tricks with your memory , but Bob seemed pretty sure of himself.
