I guess you're talking about the ebay ad. Initially, I didn't look at all the pics that closely, but the dashboard, trunk floor, and lower tail panel say a lot

So was the car in fact wrecked/totaled 5 weeks ago as mentioned above?

[/ QUOTE ]\
The car was not totaled. It was however bumped in the front some time ago and I replaced the upper and lower valances and grille. I had it repaired by the same shop that painted the car originally.

Well as far as how bad it was wrecked I did not get a close look at it but the people that did see it said that it was not close to drivable. I guess it was easier to have it disappear than it was to have it fixed as insurance would cover theft verses a wreck because claims of the condition of the car would be hard to verify.

I have met you a time or two and as I said before Travlers Rest is a very small town and people like to talk.

Here is some talk about the stolen cars:

Guys,

Remember.......... they stole two race rigs two weeks ago. One in S.Carolina and the other from a motel in Commerce. (NMCA race)

The "it won't happen to me" thinking is naive.

We must have a system to disable the tow rig. With all the smart heads out here you surely can do kill switches, pull fuel pump relay removal, etc.

These thieves know who you are and where you're going, etc.

Think about it.

I use layered protection. It already saved my Rig back in 2005.

I use this on the trailer: http://www.carrythebigstick.com/

This is what I have been using for the last few years. He works cheap.
