I used peanut butter on a regular mouse trap and they would lick it off without setting the trap. My suggestion would be to smash cheese on the trigger of the trap. Just use a reg mouse trap and check it daily, then you will be done. I would also suggest placing several traps next to each wall of your garage to catch any other perpetrators. Place it bait side towards the wall. There usually is more than one.

I've found that the peanut butter only works once it's old. When used fresh the little buggers more often than not get a full belly and leave you hanging.
If you take a fruit strip and cut it into small rectangles, these can easily be clamped into most mouse traps. When the mice go for a snack they need to tug on the fruit strip and bingo, one less critter to worry about. Traps are the only way to go!!! |
