Darren,
I had a 73 Z28 that I bought new. I can tell you without question that the 'Z28' marking on that TT looks nothing like mine did ![]()

Nice looking car. Not sure about that short spoiler, though.
I had a couple of those 73 LT's back in the day, and I recall being able to order them with a Z driveline. I bought one brand new off the showroom floor, no spoilers or stripes/245HP/TH400/10-Bolt 3.73 Posi, and I recall the salesman telling it me the drivetrain was identical to the Z/28. He said it was a way to get the same car and pay less insurance. The second LT had stripes/spoilers/Saginaw wide ratio 4-speed that was a hoot to drive. If you put it next to a '73 "Z/28" and removed the emblems from both cars, the VIN was probably the only way you could tell them apart. JB |

In 1973, you could order the Z28 option on either the base Camaro or on the Type LT (they were two different models). In addition, you could also add the Rally Sport option to either model. The group of guys that I hung around with at the time, there were 8 of us who all bought new 73 Z28's, and there was at least one of each of the four possible combinations: Z28, Rally Sport Z28, Type LT Z28, and Rally Sport Type LT Z28 ![]()
