The East Hampton Star - damn that brings back lots of great memories. My family vacationed out there every summer from the time I was born til '85. Think I'll have to take road trip out there labor day weekend.

Here's some wagons I've seen lately. This Malibu sounded pretty healthy too.

Here's an interesting little car. My brother-in-law bought this a few months ago from a guy who'd been working on it since the 70's. It has a Mopar 318 in it, with auto trans. Have a look at the metal work. That's a Torino hood scoop grafted onto the hood, and it's all metal. The fenders and quarters have been massaged slightly to give it a more aggressive look, and the wheels are 70's era slots. It has faded crushed velvet door panels, and other period modifications. I don't know how long it sat unfinished, but the paint has just been done in the last month. It needs to be tuned and the brakes done, but it looks like it's going to be a fun little cruiser. Something out of the ordinary anyway.
