no such thing as a 68 Cuda.

[/ QUOTE ]

They were "Barracudas" in 68 but everybody called them Cudas. In 69 Plymouth had an official 'Cuda option late in the year on the A-body model in both fastback and notchback. In 70 the 'Cuda became a separate model.

Cars won't be street legal, and are *supposed* to go to racers...I'll believe that part when I see it, but it sounds good! I just see too many collectors snatching them up and parking them, forcing the racers to have to buy the more expensive DOT model to tear apart...I've already seen an early delivery street Challenger with a $30k dealer markup! The markup was almost as much as the MSRP!!

I saw a black Challenger on the road this weekend going west on the NYS Thruway. It is a mean looking car. Had to do a double take to realize what it was, but at first glance on the highway, I thought it was a '70.

Our local Dodge dealer called me to let me know that they have an Orange SRT available for me now for only 15k over sticker, I don't think so. By the time they get the next production run to market, the value will drop just like the mustangs did. I'll wait.
